Marietta, a small city a few miles northwest of Atlanta, hosts some of the most popular festivals and events in the metro area.
Festivals in Marietta include the Taste of Marietta in spring, Marietta Art in the Park over the Labor Day weekend, and the Marietta Streetfest and Chalktoberfest in fall.
There are many other events too throughout the year, including concert series in Marietta Square, food festivals, holiday and seasonal festivals, and the North Georgia State Fair.
Marietta is also home to one of the biggest and best farmers markets in the Atlanta area, with dozens of vendors selling a wide variety of local produce and other goods every week throughout the year.
